Registration is now open for the Sodales CP High School Championships. The tournament will be on February 5th-6th, and check-in will be from 3:30pm-5:00pm on the 5th. To register, please email me with the names of your debaters, whether they are high school or junior high students, and any dietary restrictions. The deadline for registration will be January 29th, and registration fees are $50/debater. We have a new school waiver of $30/debater for schools who have not competed in Sodales tournaments within the last two years. If you qualify or want to check your status, please let me know in your registration email. The tournament will be in Canadian Parliamentary style and squirrelling will be permitted for high school debaters- we encourage debaters to bring prepped cases. We are planning to have a separate junior high bracket, but this may change based on the number of junior teams. If you are coming from out of town, The Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax offers a Dalhousie conference rate of $115/night. They can be reached at 1-800-565-2020.
